Rose McIver is set to star in an upcoming comedy series at CBS!!

The 32-year-old actress will return to primetime TV alongside Utkarsh Ambudkar in Ghosts, Deadline reveals.

“Today is a good day,” Rose wrote on Instagram, along with the news, on Wednesday (March 31).

Rose and Utkarsh will play a struggling young couple, Samantha and Jay, “whose dreams come true when they inherit a beautiful country house, only to find it’s both falling apart and inhabited by many of the deceased previous residents.”

Ghosts is based off of a British series of the same name and will also star Rebecca Wisocky, Brandon Scott Jones, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Richie Moriarty, Sheila Carrasco and Roman Zaragoza.

Rose of course previously starred in iZombie for five seasons on The CW, which is owned by the same company as CBS. She then appeared in the Hulu series Woke.

Utkarsh regularly lends his voice to the Disney Junior series Mira, Royal Detective, which will premiere it’s new season next week. He also starred in a recurring role on The Mindy Project as Mindy Kaling‘s younger brother. He’s also recently appeared in the Disney+ movie Godmothered, and will be seen in Ryan Reynold‘s Free Guy, out later this year.
