“Unlike my first single ‘Omertà ,’ this song is written less from the perspective of a persona and more from within myself. It’s about returning to a place that’s entire identity is infused with a person from your past, and happier times. I wanted the song to feel like you’re there with me, in these memories,” Andrew told us about the track.
“The video was shot entirely on Super 8 film. There’s something nostalgic about New York City, even if you’ve never been there, and for me, shooting on film was a way to encapsulate that timeless energy,†he added about the music video.
On Friday night (May 14), Andrew premiered the video at a special screening event held at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles.
If you didn’t know, Andrew will soon be seen in the upcoming movie He’s All That, alongside Addison Rae and Tanner Buchanan. The film was recently given a premiere date on Netflix.
