Older'All American' Spinoff & DC Comics' 'Naomi' Ordered To Series at The CW!
The CW has made some announcements for two of the shows that were possibly coming!
All American spinoff series All American: Homecoming has been picked up to series on the network, Variety confirms.
In addition, the newest DC Comics series Naomi has also been ordered!
All American: Homecoming will follow “a young tennis hopeful from Beverly Hills and an elite baseball player from Chicago as they contend with the high stakes of college sports, while also navigating the highs, lows and sexiness of unsupervised early adulthood at a prestigious Historically Black College.â€
Geffri Maya will reprise her All American role of Simone Hicks as the lead of the new show, with Camille Hyde, Peyton Alex Smith, Cory Hardrict and more. Get the scoop on all the new characters!
It will air as a backdoor pilot on July 5th.
Naomi is from executive producer Ava DuVernay and will star Kaci Walfall in the title role. The show follows a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse. When a supernatural event shakes her hometown to the core, Naomi sets out to uncover its origins, and what she discovers will challenge everything we believe about our heroes.
Also starring include Barry Watson, Mouzam Makkar, Mary-Charles Jones, Aidan Gemme and Daniel Puig. Find out more about the characters!
