Older'Dance Moms' Alums Zackery Torres Shares Life Update: 'I'm Transitioning!'
Zackery Torres has come out as transgender!
The 22-year-old former Dance Moms star shared the big life update news in a TikTok video over the weekend.
“Hi everyone, it’s me Zackery Torres, and you may know me from Dance Moms,” she said. “I realized I haven’t posted on TikTok, anything of myself since like December, and life update, I’m transitioning!”
“That means I’m transgender if you didn’t know. My pronouns are they/she, which means that they or she are totally fine, and I’m just hopping on here to tell you that I’m going to be posting more on Tiktok and I’m excited about it!” Zackery added.
As stated, Zackery‘s preferred pronouns are they/she.
Zackery recently graduated from USC (University of Southern California) with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in dance, and she’s working towards her MA!

If you don’t remember, Zackery made history on Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition as the first male-born contestant and went on to compete with Cathy Stein and the Candy Apples team on Dance Moms.
