OlderJoJo Siwa Opens Up About Not Wanting To Do This In Her Upcoming Movie 'Bounce'
There’s one part of JoJo Siwa‘s upcoming movie Bounce that she was uncomfortable with!
The 18-year-old entertainer opened up in her new EW digital cover story about a scene that she didn’t want to do and was trying to get it cut.
In the movie, JoJo will play Franny, a teenage girl who wishes she could trade her family for a new one on Christmas Eve. Her wish is granted and she finds herself “bouncing†into the lives of other girls and living Christmas Day on repeat — learning the value of family, finding your voice and the power of love.
There is a scene where she has to kiss a man, and she expressed that she really doesn’t want to do that.
“I’m madly in love and I do not want to kiss another human,” she says. “Especially because it’s a man.”
JoJo also added that she thinks fans will perceive the moment as JoJo kissing a man, and not her character in the film.
“That’s what they look at me as, not some character, not some fictional thing. And so it’s going to be a little weird,” she told EW. “I’m not about it. I’m trying to get it pulled so bad. It’ll happen. It’ll get pulled.”
After the EW article was released, JoJo took to Twitter to share that the producers of Bounce, which includes Will Smith and his Westbrook Studios, are fully supportive of her.
“My friends at paramount and my friend Caleeb Pinkett are 1000% supportive of me and assured me that I don’t have to do anything I don’t wanna do ever!!! I’m so excited to make the movie ‘Bounce’ and couldn’t have better people to make it with!!,” she tweeted.
