'The Flash' Movie Director Shares First Look at Sasha Calle's Supergirl Costume

We are getting our first taste of Sasha Calle‘s Supergirl!

The director of the upcoming The Flash movie, Andy Muschietti, shared a sneak peek at the 25-year-old actress’ costume.

Sasha reposted the photo, simply captioning it, “Supergirl. X”

The peek at the costume shows the similarities between Henry Cavill‘s Superman costume.

In case you missed it, Andy has also shared sneak peeks of the new The Flash costume, and the Batman costume!

If you didn’t know, Sasha is an Emmy award-nominated actress, who has starred on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless.

Being of Colombian descent, she will also be the first ever Latina Supergirl!

After Sasha‘s casting was announced, another Supergirl, The CW’s Melissa Benoist, shared her excitement for Sasha, and welcomed her into the DC family.

The Flash movie is currently in production and is set for a June 2022 release.
