“It’s called ‘The Chronology of Water,†she shared in an interview. “Lidia Yuknavitch is from Portland. I love her novels but her memoires…it’s deeply personal to her. She’s in my blood and I knew that before I met her. As soon as I met her it was like we started this race without any sense of competition.â€
Kristen adds, “I’m making the movie this summer but other than that, my only goal is just to finish the screenplay and hire a really spectacular actor: I’m going to write the best f***ing female role. I’m going to write a role that I want so badly but that I’m not going to play.”

“I haven’t been to Cannes before so to come here to such a prestigious festival for my first time and to receive this award is amazing and such an honor, especially seeing the list of people who have won it before, it’s amazing to be added to that–that group of names,” Joe said (via E! News). “I feel very lucky to do something that I love as a job and so to be recognized in this way at such a relatively early stage of my career is a huge vote of confidence and is very special, so thank you.”
