Alessia Cara performed Ariana Grande‘s “Breathin’,” and we’re loving her take on the track!
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter made an appearance on BBC Radio 1 for Phil Taggart’s Chillest Show on Sunday (December 16), where she performed the Sweetener song.

During her appearance, Alessia performed a cover of the Ariana track, as well as her own song “Trust My Lonely.”
Alessia released her sophomore studio album The Pains of Growing on November 30, which includes the single “Growing Pains.” The album follows her debut, Know-It-All, released in 2015.

The 19-year-old singer and actress was joined by Alessia Cara, Why Don’t We, Marshmello, and G-Eazy.
Sabrina recently opened up about moving on from the Disney Channel and the pre-conceived conception of Disney stars having a scandal.
“Well I’m planning my scandal so that it happens efficiently!” she joked with Notion magazine.
“It’s interesting because when you’re a kid, you’re like ‘I just want to work on the TV show I like’, you don’t think about how people will take that and creative pre-conceived notions about you for the rest of your life,” Sabrina continued. “When you’re living your life in a very different way than most young kids, it’s important that you have a super strong support system around you and I’m lucky to have that. I’m not saying that nothing will ever happen that upsets people in my life, because that’s inevitable.â€
“Lots of successful people have come from it and I think it helped me reach an audience that I probably wouldn’t have been able to reach at such a young age,” she added. “[Although, some] people will take it in a way that means you’re not serious about what you’re doing or it was handed to you on a silver platter. There’s a lot of misconception.â€

The 22-year-old singer wore her usual oversized gray suit along with a Santa Claus-printed tie while she performed songs off of her new album The Pains of Growing.

Other performances during the night included Shawn Mendes, Bazzi, Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa, and Bebe Rexha.
The next Jingle Ball stop will be on Friday, December 14 in Atlanta with performances by Shawn, Calvin Harris, G-Eazy, Marshmello, Bazzi, Alessia, and Sabrina.

Accompanied with a couple back up singers and a small band, the 22-year-old singer stopped SiriusXM Studios on Monday (December 10) to perform a medley of the girl group’s classic songs.

During the medley, Alessia performed a mashup of “Say My Name”, “Bills Bills Bills”, “Survivor”, “Bootylicious”, and “Emotion.”
