The CW has just issued two more renewals – DC’s Stargirl and Kung Fu!!

DC’s Stargirl is making it’s network debut on The CW TONIGHT (May 19)!

The latest DC Comic show premiered the night before on the DC Universe platform.

In the pilot episode, when Courtney’s (Brec Bassinger) seemingly perfect life in Los Angeles gets upended with a move to Blue Valley, Nebraska with her mother Barbara (Amy Smart), stepfather Pat (Luke Wilson) and stepbrother Mike (Trae Romano), she finds herself struggling to adapt to her new town and high school.

But when Courtney discovers that Pat is harboring a major secret about his past, she ultimately becomes the unlikely inspiration for a new generation of superheroes.

DC’s Stargirl premieres TONIGHT (May 19) at 8/7c on The CW!

Ian Somerhalder suits up while walking the green carpet with his wife Nikki Reed at Heifer International’s Beyond Hunger Gala on Friday (September 18) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Also in attendance at the event were The Originals‘ Danielle Campbell, The Hunger Games‘ Isabelle Fuhrman, See Dad Run‘s Ryan Newman, and Amy Smart.

Ian and Nikki posed for a photo with a llama on the carpet and he shared the cute photo on his Instagram account.

“Lucky Llama.. At @Heifer gala fighting hunger. #BeyondHunger is a hashtag to get behind. I’ve seen the stats- we produce enough food to feed the world yet we waste most of it,” Ian captioned the below photo. “Heifer International is committed to empowering women and building communities. Thank you Heifer for inspiring us and we thank you for feeding the world. Let’s empower those to know that a mother with food raises healthier, smarter family. We need healthy, smart and able families to build our future. Let’s do this.”

FYI: Nikki is wearing a Noam Hanoch jumpsuit with Graziela Gems rings, and carrying an Edie Parker clutch. Isabelle is wearing a Ruffian dress, Yoko London earrings, and a Djula bracelet and ring.

Carly Chaikin and Thomas Middleditch hit the red carpet at the Broad Green Pictures’ screening of Break Point held at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres on Thursday (August 27) in Hollywood.

The two actors were joined by the stars of the flick J.K. Simmons, Amy Smart, David Walton, Jeremy Sisto, Joshua Rush, and Chris Parnell.

Also in attendance at the event were pregnant Brooklyn Decker, Zoe Lister-Jones, Another Period‘s Jason Ritter, and Perrey Reeves with her hubby Aaron Endress-Fox.
