Alessia Cara takes the stage for a performance at the 2017 Global Citizen Festival on Saturday (September 23) in New York City.

The 21-year-old singer was joined by fellow performers The Chainsmokers, Stevie Wonder, Andra Day, Big Sean, and Green Day.

Also in attendance were co-hosts and presenters Priyanka Chopra, Hugh Jackman with wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Lupita Nyong’o, Joan Smalls, Dianna Agron, and Michelle Monaghan.

Demi Lovato was also there, and was named Mental Health Ambassador for Global Citizen. Both Demi and Big Sean then jetted off to Las Vegas to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival that night.

Global Citizen brings together world and business leaders, non-profit organizations, socially conscious artists to further the world’s progress toward achieving the Global Goals for Sustainable Development and ending extreme poverty by 2030.

Leave it to Demi Lovato to totally slay on stage! The singer gave an amazing performance while paying tribute to the Bee Gees at the 2017 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old singer led a group of amazing artists for the tribute, including Tori Kelly, Andra Day, and Little Big Town.

Demi kicked off the performance with “Stayin’ Alive,” Tori then continued with “Tragedy,” LBT joined in with “How Deep Is You Love,” and Andra then sang “Night Fever.” All four of them then joined forces to close out the performance with “Stayin’ Alive” once again.

The 14-year-old Girl Meets World actress was part of a group of 54 powerhouse women across America who were asked what it means to be a woman in 2016 and to define themselves.

Other women, including Amandla Stenberg, Dakota Fanning, Kiernan Shipka, Hailey Baldwin, Jenna Dewan, Ashley Graham, Tavi Gevinson, Ciara, Andra Day, Pyper America Smith, Starlie Smith, Daisy Clementine Smith and Sarah Paulson all answered the question as well. See what some of them had to say:

Rowan’s definition: “Rowan Blanchard wants to help other people, pretend to be other people, and become a flower child and move to the woods in this princess dress!”

Amandla’s definition: “Amandla Stenberg is a social activist, an artist, and a lover of the 2007 emo scene as well as Trader Joe’s cookies. She believes in finding beauty in your core first before you go out into the world.”

Dakota’s definition: “Dakota Fanning loves karaoke and doesn’t eat fruit.”

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas sing a tribute to honor the memory of the lives lost in the multiple Orlando shootings last month during their concert on Saturday (July 2) in Orlando, Fla.

The Future/Now Tour collaborators welcomed singer Andra Day to the stage and joined her to sing her song “Rise Up” while the names of the victims, including Christina Grimmie, were shown on the screen behind them.

“This song is incredibly inspiring and she is incredibly inspiring,” Nick said while welcoming Andra to the stage. Before the performance, the audience was led in group prayer.

Kendall Jenner struts her stuff at Marc Jacobs‘ fashion show during New York Fashion Week on Thursday afternoon (February 18) at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City.
