The K-pop group teamed up with Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685 for a new remix of “Savage Love” and it hit the top spot.
The single took a seven spot jump from No. 8 the week before, marking both Jason and BTS‘ second number one each on the Hot 100.
Jason first had a number one with his song “Watcha Say” back in 2009, and BTS got their first with their all-English hit “Dynamite.”
Speaking of, “Dynamite” dropped to the number two spot last week, and it has remained in the spot, giving BTS the top two positions on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Dynamite” is also sitting at number two on the iTunes songs chart at the time of this post.
In other K-pop news, BLACKPINK‘s new song “Lovesick Girls,” from their debut album The Album, is the number one song on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart!
This time, SELPINK went animated for a new dance video, with all five of the girls together.

The video was made in Zepeto, “an app from the South Korean online platform Naver that allows users to create 3-D avatars and interact with each other,” according to Billboard.
The new dance video shows off the animated versions of SELPINK in outfits that look just like the ones they wore in the actual video, and gives us a little look at what the music video could have possibly looked like if it weren’t for the pandemic.

The 28-year-old singer and the K-Pop girl group will be releasing their new song “Ice Cream” and the music video to go with it on Friday (August 28), and Selena is now sharing a teaser of what we can expect.
“Special delivery! ICE CREAM song and video are out August 28th. ðŸ¦ðŸš @blackpinkofficial,” Selena captioned the below teaser.
In the video, Selena looks cute wearing a red and white striped tank while driving an ice cream truck. The ladies of BLACKPINK also make appearances in the video.
SELPINK is coming later this month when the new single is released on August 28th.

BLACKPINK has been teasing that they had a new collab coming out this month, and there were rumors that it would be with Selena.
The new collab will be BLACKPINK‘s second song release from their upcoming debut album. “How You Like That” was released this past June, and it set a Guinness World Record!

BLACKPINK‘s management, YG Entertainment has released a statement saying, “It is difficult to confirm that BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez will collaborate. Please wait until we officially reveal the featured artist.â€

Another pop star that is rumored to be the secret collaboration is Ariana Grande!
Ariana‘s friend and frequent collaborator Tommy Brown revealed earlier this summer that he has recently worked on music with both BLACKPINK and Ariana.
“I did a little bit of work with BLACKPINK when I went to Korea. I have music with them that’s really, really incredible. I think the world is going to love them,” he told PopCrave. “And I also have music with Ariana, you’ve seen some of it online, but we have some incredible incredible records with both acts. Right now is the time I’ve been my most creative.”
We’ll have to just wait and see in August when the single is released.
