The YouTube star transformed into her Internet character Miranda Sings to document the process in a video, which she shared to Miranda‘s channel on Saturday (August 10).
In the “tutorial” video, Miranda repeatedly tells viewers to make sure to cut only the tips of the hair and not too high up.

Colleen also posted more of her reaction in her Instagram Stories, screaming and saying, “That’s really f–king short. I’m having a panic attack.”

The 32-year-old YouTube star has made it to New York as she prepares to make her Broadway debut in the musical Waitress.
“I AM MOVING TO NEW YORK AND IM MAKING MY BROADWAY DEBUT WTF IS MY LIFE!!!!!” she excitedly tweeted on Wednesday (July 31) night.
The following day, she shared a cute photo on her Instagram story of her holding her son Flynn in front of a fountain in the city. You can see the photo here!
The YouTube star went on to get a makeover by the Queer Eye fashion expert, but ended up flipping the script.
“NEW DRESSING FUNNY episode just launched, with @MirandaSings @ColleenB123. It’s SO damn good!!” Tan wrote on Twitter.

Todrick Hall is making his Broadway return this summer!
The YouTube star will star opposite his best friend Colleen Ballinger in Waitress. The pair will play love interests Ogie and Dawn.
“I’m so excited to be returning to Broadway but this time with @ColleenB123!!! @WaitressMusical,” Todricktweeted.
“AaAaAaAaHh!!!! SURPRISE!!! i get to do a broadway show with one of my favorite humans ever!!!!” Colleen added on her page.
Colleen will be making her Broadway debut in the show, which she announced just two weeks prior. Todrick has previously been on Broadway in Chicago, Kinky Boots, and The Color Purple. They will be in the show together from August 20th until September 15th, and you can purchase tickets at WaitressTheMusical.com!

Colleen will take over the role of Dawn from August 20 – September 15, the role is currently played by Caitlin Houlahan.
“This has literally been dream since I could speak,” she said in her announcement video. “If you’ve been watching me for a long time, you know I’m a total musical theater nerd, and I have been since birth. Anytime anyone asks me what my number one dream is, it’s always been to be a mom, to be a performer, specifically to be a performer on Broadway. Broadway is literally the top of the top.”
“Waitress is an incredible musical. It is definitely my favorite musical on Broadway right now. It has been my favorite musical on Broadway for a long time. I’ve been obsessed with it since it came out,” Colleen added. “I would put on the piece ‘When He Sees Me’, which is the song sung by the character Dawn, and I love that character, it’s right up my alley. I love the song, I love all the music.”
