Conor Maynard has revealed that he was held at gunpoint while on tour in Brazil.
The singer and YouTube star took to Twitter this week to post a series of videos letting fans know what happened.
“Basically, me and my manager were involved in an incident in Sao Paulo,†he said. “We were coming back from a restaurant. We just had dinner and we were heading back to the hotel when we pulled up at a red light … and suddenly a motorcyclist pulled up next to the driver’s window, which is the side I was also on, and so I’m banging on the window, and at first me and my manager were kind of confused.â€
“As I looked at the motorcyclist as he was banging on the window, he was banging on the window with a gun in his hand and he was pointing it at the driver and was trying to open the door,” he continued.
Luckily, everyone escaped unharmed.
“I would never judge or base my opinion on a country based on one incident,†Conor added. “Regardless of the way it kind of ended, I had such an amazing time over there. The show was so much fun and obviously I would happily come back to do another show.â€
Madison Beer faces off with Conor Maynard in a new video and it’s five minutes of your life you won’t want back.
“Dead” singer Madison goes back-and-forth with the 24-year-old British singer singing different popular hits to the background of Zayn and Sia‘s “Dusk Til Dawn.”
“I couldn’t get Madison to go for a drink with me; but she wasn’t interested anyway. Basically make sure they like you before you order roses and a full orchestra…,” Conor jokes in the comments.
“You know what they say, if you can’t join them, beat them. (I’m aware thats not the saying but they genuinely wouldn’t let me join them, they kinda gave me a trial run for a day but apparently when I changed all their socials to ‘The Camps’ that was the last straw,” Conor wrote.” So, me and The Vamps have gone head to head… who comes out on top? YOU DECIDE!!……unless you say The Vamps, then your opinion is irrelevant.”
We didn’t know a lot about Liam Payne‘s upcoming solo music…until now.
British singer Conor Maynard is offering up some new details about Liam’s new music in a new interview (via CapitalFM).
“We have had sessions where we wrote stuff that can go to Liam Payne, for his album, because every now and then we do a session that won’t be for me, it will be for someone else and Liam Payne is someone we have wanted to write for,” Conor shared.
He adds, “”I haven’t actually spoken to him in a while, I don’t know how close he is to finishing his stuff but I don’t think it will be long now. The guys I’m working with have sent off tracks to him that he’s heard, he might not know it was me who wrote it though.”
Conor went on to chat about the style of the songs that Liam might be putting out: “He is taking the R&B route. By what I’ve heard it is very much that style. I heard tracks he has been sent to record for it and they’re good.”
