Meghan Trainor looks lovely in a vintage glam inspired look at Q85: A Musical Celebration for Quincy Jones held at the Microsoft Theatre on Tuesday night (September 25) in Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter was joined by fiance, Daryl Sabara, and dad, Gary, for the event.
Opening up about her upcoming album with ET, Meghan revealed that making the record has helped her to fight panic attacks, anxiety and depression.
“In the album, I tried to stay positive because that’s the only way I can crawl out of it personally,†she shared at the Pandora Presents: Pop Coast Hits event just the week before.
Meghan adds, “If I start thinking about it, [I can] trigger it. Like, I’ll start thinking, ‘Well, what if have a full-blown panic attack right now?’ then it literally will happen to me…I wrote a song called ‘Treat Myself’ and it’s [about being] so proud that I overcame that and how I’m only going to be positive from here on out.”
“I’m going to not forget myself in this crazy process of life. My therapist said to me, ‘Dude, you came so far, don’t forget to reward yourself for that,’ and I was like, ‘Dang, more people should know that.’”
We can’t wait to hear the whole album!
