Dylan Bernard just dropped his new song “Forever for Now” and we’re going to have it on repeat forever!
The up-and-coming musician worked with Shawn Mendes‘ recording engineer on the song that talks about relationships in the entertainment industry.
Dylan spilled to JJJ about the influences behind his new music.
“When I started writing new music, I wanted to be true to myself, and incorporate all of the sounds I enjoy. I love big pop/rock bands like Imagine Dragons and Panic at the Disco, but I also love the realness and rawness of artists like Jazmine Sullivan and Jessie Reyez. I didn’t want to be put in a box so I decided to combine all of the elements I love and create a sound that I would listen to,” Dylan explained.
Dylan Bernard created a brand new version of his song “Gasoline” for a very important person!
The up-and-coming musician just dropped an acoustic version of his song, which was used at Super Bowl champion Logan Ryan‘s wedding!
When Logan heard Dylan‘s song, he knew wanted it played at the ceremony but asked Dylan to create a toned down, acoustic track.
Of course Dylan had to say yes and now he’s releasing a music video that features footage from Logan‘s wedding last year!
“My manager works with Logan as well and I’ve always played him my music. Him and his wife really liked my song ‘Gasoline’ and asked me to rewrite it for their wedding. It’s really cool for me to have my song be a part of their lives in such a special way,” Dylan explained.
The annual event benefits No Kid Hungry, which works to end child hunger in America. Guests were treated dinner from Buca de Beppo and dessert from Cold Stone Creamery. So far, they’ve raised enough money to provide over 7,000 meals for hungry kids in America!
During the party, guests noshed on delicious mini hamburgers, chicken fingers and mac and cheese, and sipped on custom mocktails.
Guests also had the chance get their nails done, take pics in the photo booth and get flash tattoos!
After Chloe‘s mom presented her with a gorgeous flower cake, some party-goers decided to start a dance party that ended with Ricky getting thrown in the pool!
Needless to say, Chloe‘s birthday bash was an amazing evening!

Dylan Bernard invited JustJaredJr. to his private launch party, where he serenaded the room with an emotional performance.
The party was nestled atop the Hollywood Hills in a private home, which had an insane view of the city.
The weather was perfect, the food was good (we munched on Buca di Beppo and ice cream cupcakes from Cold Stone Creamery)… the music even better.
The 21-year-old singer was celebrating the launch of his debut EP, Sparks, which you can grab on iTunes here.
“Performing ‘Gasoline’ at my EP Release Party was such a surreal experience,” Dylan tells us. “It was the first song I wrote when I moved to L.A. and to see everyone at the party clapping along was a really special moment for me. I could not have asked for a better crowd to be there supporting me, and I will remember that night forever.”

Dylan Bernard loves us — because he just gave us the video for his amazing song, “Flames”!
“Filming the music video was amazing. It was a super long day, about 15 hours, but the entire team and crew made it so much fun. I’m really blessed to have been able to work with such an incredible team,” Dylan tells us about shooting the video .
He adds about the inspiration for the visual, “The song itself is a stripped down piano ballad, and we wanted the music video to have that rawness as well. We decided to combine dancing and singing into a simple video that I think turned out beautiful.”
“There is actually no fire, per say, in the music video, but Kristen, the dancer, is wearing a red dress. She symbolizes the fire in the relationship, as it ‘goes down in flames’,” Dylan dished about some of the symbolism you’ll see.
Dylan is currently working on his debut EP producers Jared Lee Gosselin, and Aaron Reid.
