iCarly ran from 2007-2012 on Nickelodeon and followed a girl (Cosgrove) who hosted her own home-grown web show, while her sidekick Sam’s (McCurdy) regular Webcasts featured everything from comedy sketches and talent contests to interviews, recipes, and problem-solving.

Star Jennette McCurdy chatted with the L.A. Times earlier this week about saying goodbye to the Nickelodeon series.
“It’s become very real because kids keep coming up to me and teenagers and college students who have watched it since they started high school and they almost start crying and they say ‘a part of my childhood is gone’,” Jennette shared. “…It makes me sad.”

In this weekend’s episode “iPawn Stars,” Sam’s (Jennette McCurdy) mother gets arrested in Las Vegas, so the gang heads there to pawn their valuables and post her bail.
