The “Wolves” singer and the Spider-Man: Far From Home actor bring to life a giraffe named Betsy and a dog named Jip, respectively.

Here’s the synopsis for the vivid reimagining of the classic tale of the man who could talk to animals: “After losing his wife seven years earlier, the eccentric Dr. John Dolittle (Robert Downey Jr.), famed doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England, hermits himself away behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with only his menagerie of exotic animals for company. But when the young queen (Jessie Buckley) falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, regaining his wit and courage as he crosses old adversaries and discovers wondrous creatures.”

It continues, “The doctor is joined on his quest by a young, self-appointed apprentice (Harry Collett) and a raucous coterie of animal friends, including an anxious gorilla (Rami Malek), an enthusiastic but bird-brained duck (Octavia Spencer), a bickering duo of a cynical ostrich (Kumail Nanjiani) and an upbeat polar bear (John Cena) and a headstrong parrot (Emma Thompson), who serves as Dolittle’s most trusted advisor and confidante.”

The film also stars Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, and Jim Broadbent and features additional voice performances from Marion Cotillard, Frances de la Tour, Carmen Ejogo, Ralph Fiennes, and Craig Robinson. (See more details on which characters they voice.)

The film is directed by Stephen Gaghan and executive produced by Robert Downey Jr..

Hailee Steinfeld and Dylan O’Brien walk the carpet at the premiere of their new action film Bumblebee at TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday (December 9) in Hollywood.

The 21-year-old actress and singer stars as Charlie Watson and the 27-year-old actor voices her transformer car and the title character, Bumblebee.

Also in attendance were their co-stars John Cena, Angela Bassett, Justin Theroux, Jason Drucker, Gracie Dzienny, Jorge Lendeborg Jr, John Ortiz, Peter Cullen, Pamela Adlon, and Megyn Price, as well as producer Michael Bay.

Before the event, Hailee took to Instagram to share a cute selfie sharing her excitement for the night ahead!

Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about her exciting Transformers spin-off!

The actress was in attendance alongside co-star John Cena to talk about their movie Bumblebee at 2018 CinemaCon on Wednesday (April 25) in Las Vegas.

The movie, which arrives in theaters on December 21, is about Charlie (Steinfeld), who is on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world when she discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken.

Hailee and John also previewed a clip during the event.

“It really was an incredible experience. The relationship with Bee had heart,” Hailee explained to the crowd.

John Cena officially has the best look of the night arriving at the at the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 24) at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif!

The 40-year-old pro wrestler posed in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles onesie as he arrived for hosting duties at the awards show.

WWE Wrestler and actor John Cena will be back as the host for Nickelodeon’s 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards!

Announced this morning, the entertainer is returning for the second year as host for the entertainment awards show which celebrates kids favorites from television, movies, music and more.

The 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards will also be held at The Forum again, in Inglewood, Calif., however, a date still has to be announced.

If you don’t know, John is also the voice behind original villain named Baron Draxum in the brand-new, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, premiering late this year.

Gina Rodriguez is a floral beauty while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie Ferdinand on Sunday (December 10) in Los Angeles.

The Jane The Virgin actress was joined by Nick Jonas, who wrote an original song for the film, and her co-stars John Cena, Anthony Anderson, Daveed Diggs, Juanes, Bobby Cannavale, and Gabriel Iglesias.

Also in attendance was Modern Family actress Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

Ferdinand, based off the beloved children’s book, follows a giant but gentle bull who must find a way to break free from his captors and return home to his family. It hits theaters THIS Friday (December 15)!
