Get ready for more of Young Rock – the show was just picked up for a second season!
The NBC comedy “focuses on different chapters of Dwayne Johnson’s life. From growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore the crazy rollercoaster that has shaped Dwayne into the man he is today and the larger-than-life characters he’s met along the way.”
Adrian Groulx stars as 10 year Dwayne, Bradley Constant plays 15-year-old Dwayne, and Uli Latukefu stars as 18-20-year-old Dwayne. Also in the show are Stacey Leilua, Joseph Lee Anderson, Ana Tuisila, John Tui, Fasitua Amosa, Lexie Duncan and Taj Cross.
The season one finale is set to air NEXT Tuesday (May 4).
In addition, Kenan has also been renewed for a second season. The series follows “a widowed dad, Kenan, who’s juggling a high-profile job as the host of an Atlanta morning show and raising his two girls. As Kenan tries to move on, his father-in-law, brother and co-workers all have strong opinions on the best way to live his life.”
Kenan, which just wrapped it’s first season this week, stars Kenan Thompson, Don Johnson, Chris Redd, Kimrie Lewis and real life sisters Dani and Dannah Lane as Kenan‘s daughters.

The 2021 NAACP Image Awards nominations have been announced with a lot of our faves getting nominations!
Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin, Chloe x Halle are all among the nominees in TV and music categories, respectively.
Disney and Pixar’s latest movie Soul even picked up a slew of nominations!
Newcomers Jahzir Bruno and Madalen Mills are also nominated for awards for their respective films – The Witches and Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey.
Last year, Marsai picked up a few awards at the ceremony – Outstanding Performance by a Youth, Outstanding Supporting Actress In a Comedy Series and Outstanding Breakthrough Performance in Motion Picture. Check out pics of her and the ish stars at the ceremony!

The 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards nominations are here!
The annual awards show will take place on Saturday, March 13th at 7:30pm ET/PT with host Kenan Thompson.
Kenan is of course no stranger to Nickelodeon or the KCAs, as he has won a blimp for Favorite Male TV Star for his work on All That in 2000. He was also nominated in the same category with his friend and co-star Kel Mitchell in 1998. They both have appeared on and executive produce the new All That on Nickelodeon!
This year’s award show will be like no other before, with the orange blimp leaving the KCA venue and take fans on a wild ride around the world and beyond. Filled with slime and messy stunts, viewers will travel to outer space, Bikini Bottom and right into celebrities’ homes using XR technology.
This year’s show will also feature live and interactive fan walls that bring celebrities and families at home to the main stage; second screen live voting all night long where fans stay in control; and a KCA award presented by one lucky family chosen during the show.

Noah Schnapp and Paris Berelc star in the trailer for their new movie Hubie Halloween!
The upcoming Adam Sandler Halloween movie has an incredibly star-studded cast, including Karan Brar, China McClain, Peyton List, Bradley Steven Perry, Kelli Berglund, Lilimar, Kevin Quinn, Lance Lim, Kenan Thompson, Julie Bowen, Kevin James, Maya Rudolph, and many more.
Here’s a synopsis: Hubie Dubois (Sandler) thanklessly spends every Halloween making sure the residents of his hometown, Salem, celebrate safely and play by the rules. But this year, an escaped criminal and a mysterious new neighbor have Hubie on high alert. When people start disappearing, it’s up to Hubie to convince the police (Kevin James, Kenan Thompson) and townsfolk that the monsters are real, and only he can stop them.
Hubie Halloween premieres on October 7th on Netflix!
