Here’s a synopsis: Private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana.
But when they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken.
Nina Dobrev might be on crutches, but she’s not letting that stop her from having fun!
The 30-year-old actress was one of the many celebs who stepped out for producer Jennifer Klein‘s Day of Indulgence party on Sunday (August 11) in Brentwood, Calif.
Some of the other stars spotted at the event included Melissa Benoist, Emma Roberts, Big Little Lies‘ Kathryn Newton and Pitch‘s Kylie Bunbury. Even though she was on crutches, Nina made sure to attend the summer’s hottest party. Such a trooper!
Stars loved being pampered with beauty treatments. Emma checked out the Benefit brow station, Nina got an SiO HandLift treatment using NOW oils, and Kathryn was among the stars who indulged in the Laneige eye and lip treatments.
Celebs always love to indulge in the yummy sweets at the party and there were so many great options this year. The See’s candy bar was a big hit as always and stars also snacked on William Greenberg Desserts cookies and TCHO Chocolate bars and bites.
The salad bar had Barukas Nuts and gimMe Organics seaweed snacks for fun toppings. Barney Butter almond butter was available in individual packets and stars also enjoyed the Jade Leaf Matcha fruit snacks and OLLY protein bars.
Sweet tooth cravings were satisfied with Baked By Melissa bite-sized macarons, Jeni’s Ice Cream street treats, and Garrett Popcorn, which celebs noshed on all day.
Just recently, Candice opened up about the upcoming Flash musical episode and how it’s all coming together.
“People are already recording songs, we start rehearsing, we just got the script,” she dished. “It seems like a lot, a lot on our plate, but we always seem to pull it off.”
Candice added, “I’m excited, I’m nervous…I hope people like it. It’s different for The Flash, but you know we have Darren Criss coming in…it’s going to be fun for all of us to try something different.”
Ginny (Kylie Bunbury) stops to meet with fans in this still from tonight’s all new Pitch.
In “The Interim”, Ginny attempts to fit in with the team, in spite of a sexist comment Al (Dan Lauria) made about her years ago resurfacing.
Meanwhile, Mike (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) comes to terms with the mortality of his career and the end of his marriage, and Blip (Mo McRae) deals with fallout from Evelyn (Meagan Holder) defending him to the media.
Pitch airs TONIGHT, Thursday, September 28th @ 9PM ET/PT on Fox.
Preview: Ginny Struggles Being Seen As The Outsider | Season 1 Ep. 2 | PITCH
The two Riverdale actresses star as Betty and Veronica on the upcoming CW show and are featured alongside Pitch‘s Kylie Bunbury, Angela Sarafyan and Good Girls Revolt’s Genevieve Angelson.
“[Betty and Veronica] are the famous frenemies, but in our show, we’re focusing more on the friendship between them, because these girls’ lives don’t revolve around men and around Archie,” Lili explains. “These girls are going to be friends at the end of the day; that’s what’s important to us.”
Camila adds of Veronica, “She’s kind of fearless and very positive about getting to know this new world that she’s now a part of. I think the fact that she’s the new girl, she comes from this famous, wealthy family and is forced to move to Riverdale and start a new life, it kind of adds this boldness to her character.”
Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury) has all eyes on her during a press conference in this still from the premiere episode of Pitch.
The new Fox series centers on Ginny, a beautiful, tough and gifted athlete, who is vaulted into instant fame when she’s called up by the San Diego Padres to make her Major League debut. Like any rookie, Ginny must prove herself to her teammates. Foremost among them is Mike Lawson (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), the team’s ruggedly handsome star catcher. There’s instant chemistry between them, although neither dares admit it. After all, Mike is captain of the team and a few of his players don’t even want Ginny on the field.
Guiding her is her agent/confidante Amelia Slater (Ali Larter), who saw Ginny’s star potential early on and left her previous job as a Hollywood publicist to concentrate on the young phenom. Although groomed for this moment by her demanding father, Bill Baker (Michael Beach), the end of Ginny’s improbable journey is the beginning of an almost impossible one: representing her gender as she embarks on a successful baseball career under the glare of the white-hot media spotlight.
It’s a goal hard enough for anyone to achieve – except this player is also a woman, who happens to be the most important historical figure in sports since Jackie Robinson. This season, Ginny Baker will be the other woman trying to break into one of the oldest, most exclusive men’s clubs in the country.
Pitch premieres TONIGHT, Thursday, September 22nd @ @9PM ET/PT on Fox.
