“When she came into the studio, I was still crying and she was not. And she was like, ‘You’re going to be okay. Call me, here’s my number.’ She was so persistent. She would try over and over again to be friends with me. And I was too ashamed to hang out with her, because I didn’t want to project all of this negativity onto something that was healing and so beautiful,” Gaga said of her budding friendship with Ariana to Zane Lowe on Apple Music.

Dove Cameron Was Completely Starstruck Over Lady Gaga at Vanity Fair's Oscar Party

Dove Cameron, like us all, was so happy that Lady Gaga won her first Oscar at the 2019 Academy Awards over the weekend.

However, unlike us all – she completely missed the chance to congratulate her afterwards as they passed each other at the party.

“So @ladygaga just accidentally touched my dress and i’m fully frozen where i stand,” the Descendants star tweeted to her fans.

She added later when someone saw photos of Dove in the background: “You guys this is photo evidence of the actual moment i was tweeting about. do you see that my face is like stone. i couldn’t even speak to her.”

We totally get it! We’d be starstruck too.
