The Heartbreak Weather singer recently checked out the “Yummy” crooner’s 10-part Seasons documentary on YouTube.
“To be fair, we had each other and I don’t think people realize the power of that,” Niall told Glamour about being in One Direction.
“You see solo stars — I watched Justin Bieber’s new docuseries and he’s a guy I know quite well and you can see how it affected him,” Niall continued. “People didn’t realize the pressure he was under. I can relate to that 100 percent.”
“We were always lucky that we had each other,” Niall added. “He had his manager and his security guy. We had our manager and our security team, but we also had each other to share the experience with. I always felt sorry for Justin in that respect.â€
“We came from simple backgrounds and I think we had that in common which helped,” Niall said. “When it was all going on around us we were just kind of in our little bubble, chatting about how crazy it is. We couldn’t believe where we were all the time, we never really saw ourselves as these big celebrities that was more of an outsider looking in type thing. We were just in this little fishbowl having a great time. All the madness was going on around us.â€

Niall Horan is hours away from the release of Heartbreak Weather but he’s feeling a little disappointed.
The 26-year-old musician took to his Instagram story to express how he was feeling amid promotional appearances being cancelled while keeping the health of his fans in mind.
“Obviously would have loved to have done a lot more promotion for the album launch, nothing I can do. Completely out of my hands. The album’s the album, music’s music and hopefully it has the same effect,” Niall said.
He continued, “It was an unbelievable experience making the album and I’d rather not dwell on the fact that I can’t do promotion and everyone’s feeling sorry for me. I’d rather just live in the moment and know I worked really hard on this album and it’s very fun and you’re still going to be dancing around your bedrooms!”
“Just because we don’t have an album launch or any performances or anything like that, we had an unbelievable week on Late Late Show. Some of the most fun I’ve ever had…as you probably can tell. Yeah…let’s go! Heartbreak Weather tonight! Let’s do it!” Niall concluded.
In a hilarious skit, the duo paid tribute to The Proclaimers‘ classic “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” all while dressed in glasses, wigs and matching red shirts.
The former One Direction singer went all out with James Corden in this hilarious Hot Wings sketch on during last night’s (March 10) episode of The Late Late Show!
Niall and host James, 41, competed against one another, progressively challenging each other to consume hotter wings so they wouldn’t seem weak to spice it up in front of each other.
Opening with the pair watching an American football game at a bar, James asked a waitress if they could get an order of wings as they wanted “a chicken wing fling for the chicken wing kings.” When asked if they wanted the wings hot or mild, Niall and James decided to go for the spicier options after they were told the “mild is pretty popular… with children.”
By the end of it, James is taking a bucket full of ice and dunking it on his head while Niall is throwing a dessert into his face in an attempt to cool down.
Later on the show, Niall also hit the stage to perform his song “Put a Little Love On Me” from his new album Heartbreak Weather, which is out on March 13.
The “Nice To Meet Ya” crooner started his The Late Late Show residency on Monday (March 9).
On his upcoming second album Heartbreak Weather, Niall told host James, “I kinda tried to like tell a story throughout the track listing.”
He added that it was created from the perspective of his own broken heart.
Niall also talked about his upcoming tour with pal Lewis Capaldi (whom he kissed at a recent event), and James Corden showed a video of Niall‘s first performance on Britain’s X Factor with One Direction (featuring Niall covering Coldplay‘s “Viva La Vida”).
