Iman Vellani Suits Up as Ms. Marvel in These Awesome New Photos!

One of our most highly anticipated TV shows this year is the upcoming Marvel series Ms. Marvel and these new photos from set are just making us even more excited.

We have the first photos of Iman Vellani in her character’s official suit and she look so good. The 16-year-old actress was spotted filming scenes on Friday night (April 30) in Atlanta, Ga.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Iman on set, but it’s the first time we’ve seen her in this costume. She was previously seen wearing her character’s homemade version of the suit.

It also looks like Iman was joined by her co-star Rish Shah for the scene. He is playing the role of Kamran in the new series and we actually just caught up with him for an interview!

The show will center on Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teen from New Jersey. Ms. Marvel made her first appearance in the comic book universe in 2014 as Marvel’s first Muslim character to have her own Marvel title.

Camila Mendes Gets New 'Strangers' Co-Star In Rish Shah!

Camila Mendes Gets New 'Strangers' Co-Star In Rish Shah!

Rish Shah has joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix movie Strangers!

The actor joins Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke in the new film, Deadline reveals.

Strangers is described as “a subverted Hitchock-ian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls. It follows Drew (Alpha, it girl) and Eleanor (beta, alt girl) who, after a clandestine meet-cute, team up to go after each other’s bullies.”

You may recognize Rish from his role as Ravi in the recent To All The Boys: Always and Forever. He’ll also be seen starring in the upcoming Marvel series Ms Marvel for Disney+, opposite newcomer Iman Vellani.

“It’s definitely exciting, growing up I never would have imagined someone with my background is given these opportunities on a global platform – it’s surreal and humbling,” he told Deadline. “I’m lucky to work in the industry on the shoulders of so many great actors, such as Riz Ahmed and Irrfan Khan, who have paved the way for me.”
