Ross Butler, best known for his work on 13 Reasons Why and Riverdale, will be playing the role of Trevor, the best friend of Noah Centineo‘s character Peter.
Ross and Noah happen to be best friends in real life as well!
“We’re thrilled to announce that the endlessly charming Ross Butler has joined the cast of the To All the Boys sequel as Trevor Pike,†producer Matt Kaplan said in a statement to EW. “His real-life friendship with Noah brings a natural chemistry and great rapport to the set and we can’t wait for fans to see this friendship play out onscreen.â€

We don’t have an answer – yet – about just who Ross Butler is playing the upcoming movie, Shazam!
The 28-year-old actor is keeping quiet about the identity of his on-screen persona until the movie hits theaters next week.
“Trust me, I’ve been wanting to tell people,” Ross told Flaunt magazine. “But they’re [the studio] keeping it under wraps. The movie is a new direction for DC. I think a lot of people are going to enjoy that it’s self-deprecating.â€
He added that the movie isn’t trying to be “Dark Knight. Not trying to go down this dark, brooding direction. It’s a new tone for DC. That’s what I can say.â€
