Sabrina recently opened up about not trusting anyone after being Punk’d by Chance the Rapper on the Quibi reboot series.

“I don’t trust anyone anymore. I don’t trust anything. Ever since that day, I can’t see my house the same, I can’t look at my security cameras the same, everything just feels wrong,” Sabrina told Travis Mills on Apple Music. “I feel like I always hear rats in my attic because he basically punked me by making me think my house was infested with hundreds of rats. Which was a little too realistic, hit a little close to home because I did have one rat in my attic when I first moved into this house and it was already dead, unfortunately to all the rat fans out there, it was dead. But, I don’t know why I’m laughing, that’s terrible.”

“Anyways, got rid of the rat, thought the rat problem was gone. And then my mom, the little crazy psychopath of an actress that she is, weeks before I was punked set me up by being like, ‘Sabrina. I think I hear the rats again,’” she continued. “I’m like, ‘I think we have to call the exterminator, it’s getting pretty bad.’ I was actually shooting [Disney+ movie] Clouds and I was like, ‘Mom, I don’t care. Just please handle it, I am terrified.’ And so then this night she was like, ‘The exterminators are there, it’s gotten really bad. And we might not be able to stay at home tonight.’ And I was like, ‘Bro, what?’ I was like, ‘I was just there. I didn’t hear anything.’ And then that was the night that it all went down and I sobbed in front of the camera while Chance was eating craft service in my backyard and it was traumatizing. I’ll never forget it, but I’m also honored in a weird way.”

Sabrina Carpenter Shares How Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Has Influenced Her

Sabrina Carpenter Shares How Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Has Influenced Her

Sabrina Carpenter is opening up about the influence Taylor Swift has had on her recently.

The 21-year-old Work It star and singer recently shared how the release of Folklore impacted her approach to music.

“I’ve really, really felt this energy. Taylor Swift posted something when she released her new album in the description of when it dropped and saying like, ‘I usually would overthink the songs that I’m going to put out and release. And I just feel like nothing is certain right now and so it just felt right and I wanted to do it.’” Sabrina told Apple Music.

“And that put me in such a good warm hearted place where then I could listen to all these songs that I’ve been making with such a fresh perspective of like, ‘You know what, this is how I feel right now in musical form,’” she added. “And yeah, so I definitely, definitely am aiming to get them out on a project soon. And I have some collabs that I’ve done that I’m really excited about as well, so things are coming. But I have put out this Netflix dance movie first and then we’ll get to the next thing.”

Sabrina Carpenter Reveals She Actually Didn't Do This For Her New Movie 'Work It'

Sabrina Carpenter Reveals She Actually Didn't Do This For Her New Movie 'Work It'

Sabrina Carpenter‘s new movie Work It is out on Netflix TODAY (August 7)!

While promoting the film, the 21-year-old star revealed that she actually didn’t even learn some of the choreography.

Sabrina‘s character Quinn Ackerman has zero dance experience and quite frankly is bad at dancing, and to make that authentic, Sabrina just rolled with it and didn’t learn some of the moves.

“I will say that for this movie specifically, I often did not fully learn the return,” she told Buzzfeed. “But it was on purpose, so that [it would look like] I didn’t…know what I was doing. That was a sure way to look terrible.”

“[Like] the audition scene for The Thunderbirds, I literally had no idea what I was doing…the two girls they placed in front of me were literally what I was going off of, so I was always a count behind,” she added.

Work It is now available to stream on Netflix and we have to say, it’s really good! Check out some stills from the film in the gallery…

Sabrina Carpenter Would Love to Return to 'Mean Girls' On Broadway After Pandemic

Sabrina Carpenter Would Love to Return to 'Mean Girls' On Broadway After Pandemic

Sabrina Carpenter wants to go back to Broadway!

In a new interview, the 21-year-old actress and singer says she would love to reprise the role of Cady Heron in Mean Girls when Broadway is back in action.

If you didn’t know, Sabrina was starring in the show when Broadway shut down due to Coronavirus, and she was only able to perform two shows.

“For my personal situation, not comparing it to the rest of the world, which has also been a huge bummer,” Sabrina told AP. “It was two heavy months of really, really tough rehearsals into going to do two shows, and then having a very long break. Now at this point, I feel for the Broadway community that’s definitely at a stand still for the longest that they’ve ever been.”

“I was just so grateful that I got to even accomplish two shows before that all happened, because that was a really big dream of mine,” she continued. “I hope to go back when everything comes back. Fingers crossed.”

If you missed them, check out the photos from Sabrina‘s opening night, which was her Broadway debut!

Sabrina‘s Work It co-star Jordan Fisher was also starring on Broadway in Dear Evan Hansen when the pandemic hit.

Sabrina Carpenter wants to take on the ballroom!

The 21-year-old Work It star recently opened up about having an interest in competing on Dancing With The Stars.

“I’m like, preparing myself, because I got tendonitis from doing a two-month dance film, let alone a full dance show. I’d definitely think about it, because it’s always been something that I’ve looked at and been like, ‘God, that would be so fun. I could do some of the things,’” she told ET. “Then there’s other things where I’m like, ‘I don’t know if salsa and I go together,’ you know what I mean?”

Sabrina‘s Work It co-star Jordan Fisher has actually won the mirror ball trophy back in 2017 with partner Lindsay Arnold. Her other co-star Liza Koshy excitedly said “Yes!” to also wanting to be on the show.
