The actor has been recurring as Behrad Tarazi in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but he was just promoted to series regular for the upcoming sixth season.

“My never-ending gratitude to my family, partner, friends, teachers, manager, agent, and above all, Bahá’u’lláh, Glory of God, for supporting and guiding me on my quest as an actor.
Thank you to everyone at @cw_legendsoftomorrow for having me back as a series regular. I am so excited to further explore Behrad in season 6 and continue working with such an incredible cast, crew, and creative team,” he shared on Instagram.

“To all fans, thank you for your warm welcome from the grip. Being on the Waverider has truly been the most intense experience of my life and I feel so lucky to share this journey with you.
If I have anything to say it’s remember to practice self-kindness. We live in a mad, mad world, but we always have the choice to be kind to ourselves. (It may be more radical than you think). Stay weird, stay true. Onward! #legendsoftomorrow,” Shayan added.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return in 2021. Be sure to check out the updated CW schedule!
