Charlie Rowe Makes His Off-Broadway Debut - See Photos!

Charlie Rowe is currently making his off-Broadway debut in the new play The Judas Kiss and you can see the production photos right here!

The play is currently running at BAM in Brooklyn, N.Y. through June 12.

Charlie is best known for his work on Fox’s critically acclaimed series Red Band Society and he was one of the frontrunners for the role of Spider-Man in the new franchise.

The Judas Kiss explores two pivotal moments in the life – and downfall – of author Oscar Wilde (Rupert Everett). Set in two acts on either side of Wilde’s imprisonment on charges of indecency, we see Wilde after the collapse of his libel case against the Marquess of Queensbury (the father of Wilde’s beloved, Lord Alfred “Bosie” Douglas), and later in Naples, after two years of imprisonment, when he is reunited with Bosie (Rowe).

Mitchell Hope & Charlie Rowe Are Frontrunners For 'Looking For Alaska' Role

The DescendantsMitchell Hope is already moving on from the royal life he led in the DCOM.

The 20-year-old actor is rumored to be up against Red Band Society‘s Charlie Rowe for the part of Miles in the upcoming adaption of John Green‘s “Looking For Alaska”, according to The Wrap.

“Looking for Alaska” centers on Miles, who is sent to boarding school where he falls for a beautiful and mysterious classmate named Alaska Young.

Immy Waterhouse‘s name is also floating around the project for the role of Alaska.

Also in attendance were Parenthood‘s Miles Hezier and 24: Live Another Day‘s Giles Matthey, as well as Men, Women, and Children stars Will Peltz, Timothee Chalamet, and Travis Tope.

Partygoers mingled under the cabana and didn’t let the rain ruin their good time! In fact, Andrew jumped into the pool for a rainy dip!

If you follow JJJ often, you know that we are big Charlie Rowe fans here so we definitely are a little bummed that he didn’t land the role of Spider-Man, but we are still so excited to see Tom Holland in the upcoming re-boot!

Charlie seems excited for Tom too and just sent out a super supportive tweet for his friend.

“Well done @TomHolland1996, glad that tom’s a mate, pleased for him. I thought I could’ve made quite a good spiderman,” the 19-year-old actor wrote on Twitter.

Charlie is best known for his work in the beloved, but short-lived, Fox series Red Band Society. He was among the four front-runners for the Marvel web-slinger, who will first be seen in Captain America: Civil War.

The Impossible‘s Tom Holland, Boardwalk Empire‘s Charlie Plummer, and two newcomers – Judah Lewis and Matthew Lintz – are also in the running.

Chloe Moretz, Elle Fanning, and Hailee Steinfeld are all being considered for the role of young Jean Grey in Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Apocalypse, according to The Wrap!

The film is also looking at Ben Hardy, Charlie Rowe, and Timothee Chalamet for the role of young Cyclops in the film, which is scheduled to start filming in the spring of 2015.
