Alexa Demie and Kristine Froseth are two rising stars in Hollywood and they are being recognized for their talents!
The ladies were chosen as members of the “Hollywood Rising” 2019 class and they were honored at the Elle x Ferragamo Hollywood Rising Party on Friday (October 11) at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.
In the Heights actor Anthony Ramos was also chosen and his photos are featured in the gallery. Members of the cast of The Politician rounded out the class.

When asked if the cast were ones to pull pranks on the set, all four said no.
“We actually were pretty tame for the context of the show,” Denny shared. “Most of the actors on the set were already working actors and we just came into it trying to be professional and most of the fun was had on camera.”
The event was held as part of the 2019 Tribeca TV Festival. Also in attendance were the book’s author John Green and the show’s executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

Set in 2005, it centers around teenager Miles “Pudge†Halter (Plummer), as he enrolls in boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He falls in love with Alaska Young (Froseth), and finds a group of loyal friends. But after an unexpected tragedy, Miles and his close friends attempt to make sense of what they’ve been through.
All episodes of the series will debut on Hulu on October 18.
