It was just announced that the Disney Channel show has been picked up for season two.
“Our brilliant executive producers, Tracey Thomson and Charles Pratt Jr., along with a supremely talented cast and crew, have truly created a captivating series that keeps our viewers guessing,” Reena Singh, senior vice president, Development and Current Series, Disney Branded Television, said in a statement. “Now that the disappearance of Savannah has been solved, we look forward to a season of all-new puzzling plots and storylines for kids and families to unravel in the mysterious southern town of Sulphur Springs.”
The 22-year-old revealed on social media that he’ll be heading back to the Disney Channel series for an upcoming episode, but this time as a director.
“and we’re back…” he captioned a photo of the script for season five, episode 19.
This isn’t the first time he has directed an episode. He previously took the reigns in season three!
It will also be Karan‘s first time back with the show since he left, also in season three, in 2018. He of course played Ravi Ross on the series, as well as on it’s predecessor show Jessie.
Bunk’d stars are no strangers to directing, as Miranda May has directed a few, as well as Peyton List.
If you missed it, it was just revealed that this Disney star will be making a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of Bunk’d!
Sean Giambrone is lending his voice to another Disney series!
It was just announced that the 21-year-old The Goldbergs and Kim Possible star will have a recurring guest role as Riley, a gruff pack rat, on the upcoming Disney Junior series The Chicken Squad.
The new show is based off of Doreen Cronin‘s popular children’s books, and follows a trio of young chicken siblings—Coop, Sweetie and Little Boo—and their retired search and rescue dog mentor, Captain Tully. Together, they team up on problem-solving adventures in their backyard to help their animal friends, while modeling what it means to be good community helpers and finding the joy in assisting others.
The main cast consists of Yvette Nicole Brown as Captain Tully, Ramone Hamilton as Coop, Gabriella Graves as Sweetie and Maxwell Simkins as Little Boo.
Recurring roles also include Tony Hale as Frazz, a nervous squirrel; Jane Lynch as Dr. Dirt, a forensic scientist snail; Melissa Rauch as Dinah, the chicks’ mother; Malcolm-Jamal Warner as Lt. Scruffy, a retired firehouse dog; and Melissa Villaseñor and Zack Pearlman as Wheeze and Snick, mischievous raccoon siblings.
Rachel Bloom and Chrissie Fit will also guest star in the first season, as Rebeecca, a nervous honeybee, and Quilla, a friendly porcupine, respectively.
The Chicken Squad will be premiering on May 14th at 7:30pm ET/PT on Disney Junior and DisneyNOW!

Mira, Royal Detective will be returning NEXT WEEK for the show’s upcoming second season!
The Disney Junior series, follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a young girl who travels throughout the fictional land of Jalpur solving mysteries for her friends, family and extended community, premieres on Monday, April 5th at 5pm ET/PT.
Season two will include an episode highlighting the Eid al-Fitr holiday, and episodes celebrating the festivals of Teej and Dasara, as well as four extended-length music- and dance-filled specials.
In the Eid al-Fitr episode titled “The Eid Mystery,” Mira’s friend Sadia asks for her help in solving the case when they find a lost holiday eidi gift envelope on the ground. Recurring cast member Rizwan Manji stars alongside his real-life daughter, Ayana Manji as Mr. Khan and his daughter Sadia. Zehra Fazal and Kausar Mohammed also guest star. It will air on Monday, May 3rd at 5pm ET/PT.
Disney Channel just announced the exciting news that a third film is coming, with Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim back.
In Zombies 3, Zed and Addison are beginning their final year at Seabrook High in the town that’s become a safe haven for monsters and humans alike. Zed is anticipating an athletic scholarship that will make him the first Zombie to attend college, while Addison is gearing up for Seabrook’s first international cheer-off competition. Then suddenly, extraterrestrial beings appear around Seabrook, provoking something other than friendly competition.
While it has yet to be confirmed on which other stars will return, werewolves Chandler Kinney and Pearce Joza teased their return.
“y’all didn’t think we were gonna leave you on a cliffhanger…… :)))” Chandler commented on Instagram.
“I’m ready!” Pearce added.
“After the enormous success of Zombies 2 we wanted to raise the stakes in this third and final installment,” Lauren Kisilevsky, vice president, Original Movies, Disney Branded Television, said in a statement. “So when the ultimate outsiders descend on Seabrook, our team of cheerleaders, zombies and werewolves must band together to face a threat of galactic proportions that may change the face of Seabrook forever.”
Filming will begin in Toronto this spring, with Paul Hoen back directing. He has previously directed hit DCOMs like The Luck of the Irish, Jump In!, Camp Rock 2 and both Zombies movies.
