Jahzir Kadeem Bruno is making his debut in the upcoming remake of The Witches.
The young actor stars as the young boy in the film, who you will actually only see for about half of the movie because he gets turned into a mouse!
The Witches is based off of the Roald Dahl novel of the same name, and tells the darkly humorous and heartwarming tale of a young orphaned boy (Bruno) who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma (Octavia Spencer) in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis.
As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches, she wisely whisks our young hero away to an opulent seaside resort. Regrettably, they arrive at precisely the same time that the world’s Grand High Witch (Anne Hathaway) has gathered her fellow cronies from around the globe—undercover—to carry out her nefarious plans.
Emma recently opened up about how her character Belle’s love of books holds an important hidden meaning.
“[Books are] so powerful and they have the ability to change your life and your outlook, and this story really speaks to that, the sacred nature of books and their ability to transport you and empower you,” she told Mashable.
Emma added, “We still live in a world where there are probably over 80 million girls who won’t get to go to school just because of their gender.”
FYI: Emma is wearing Christopher Kane.

Beauty & The Beast unveiled an amazing new poster and you won’t believe the details!
The huge new poster highlights Emma Watson‘s Belle and the Beast in the center, surrounded by other characters from the highly anticipated flick.
The left side of the poster features characters from Belle’s village including her father Maurice, played by Kevin Kline, her suitor Gaston, played by Luke Evans, and Gaston’s sidekick Le Fou, played by Josh Gad.
The casting for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast is nearly complete and a brand new character has been added to the mix!
Stanley Tucci, who you will know as Caeser Flickerman from The Hunger Games films, has been given the role of Cadenza, who was not seen in the animated musical.
Cadenza is “the grand piano, a new character to the realm who is described as a neurotic maestro,” according to Variety. Stanley is no stranger to playing over the top characters so we can’t wait to see what Cadenza will be like!
This is expected to be one of the final casting announcements, though we still wonder who will be playing Chip.
